DECEMBER 14: STAINED GLASS: BUTTERFLIES (using pre-cut glass)

Tools & Materials Included: All tools and materials needed for this class.
Class Description: We will use the copper foil technique to create THREE stained glass butterflies. Select the colors you want from our pre-cut pieces. Everything you need to create your stained glass butterflies will be provided and you will leave with your finished items. Class activities include handling glass and soldering so we do not recommend this class for small children. Older children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult class participant. Only paid participants are allowed in the classroom-sorry, no spectators.
Safety: Please do not work with solder or lead if you are pregnant. Closed toe shoes are required. Safety glasses should be worn and will be provided. Long hair must be tied back while using glass grinders.

- Gripping, holding and applying steady pressure with hand tools
- Reading ruler measurements, draw steady lines to guide cutting tools
You are welcome to bring your own snacks and beverages. We will take breaks as needed throughout the session.
