DEC. 9 & 10: STAINED GLASS: HURRICANE STYLE CANDLE SHELTER

Experience Required: None--Beginners welcome!
Tools & Materials Included: All tools and materials needed for this class are included-you will not be required to buy anything extra to complete your project!
Class Description: We will teach you the basics of the copper foil technique while you create a 4 panel stained glass hurricane style candle shelter in your choice of design and colors. Each side will be approximately 4" wide x 6" tall. A wood base is included! Class activities include cutting and grinding glass as well as soldering so we do not recommend this class for small children.
Safety: Please do not work with solder or lead if you are pregnant. Closed toe shoes are required. Safety glasses should be worn and will be provided. Long hair must be tied back while using glass grinders.

- Standing while working
- Gripping, holding and applying steady pressure with hand tools
- Reading ruler measurements, draw steady lines to guide cutting tools

We will take breaks throughout the session.
